Sludge Management and Treatment Conference

Membrane technology for the purification of industrial and urban waters: experiences, improvements and future outlooks

The objective of this Conference, aimed at managers, administration personnel, plant managers, engineers and researchers, is to offer a framework for discussion with experts on these issues of broad interest for the development of BRM systems as well as other operations involving membranes and for the development of treatment processes in general.

The program of this edition consists of a total of 16 presentations structured in six sessions that cover the use of both aerobic and anaerobic membrane bioreactors, the applications of anaerobic and reverse osmosis systems, as well as direct filtration with membranes. There is also a presentation on a new generation application that addresses the capture of carbon dioxide through membranes.

B-Ferst partner Aqualia will introduce the B-Ferst project as well as its potential impact on the sludge management and the agronomic available resources in this biowaste stream.

The event is not free of charge, the registration fee is 200€.
